【新唐人亞太台 2020 年 01 月 19 日訊】2020年1月19日，香港民間發起「天下制裁」流水式集會，路線被迫改道。除了香港，全球12個國家亦於今日（當地19日）舉行活動，有的會持續到下週，總共會有超過30個城市舉辦聲援活動，促請各國政府隨美國一道，制裁侵犯人權的香港及中共官員。
香港1月19日的「天下制裁」流水式集會，原本路線是由中環遊行至銅鑼灣，但遭警方反對，只批准遮打花園及遮打道行人專用區集會。警方在中環一帶嚴密布防，又截查市民；金鐘高等法院外，有水炮車戒備。
集會團隊發言人劉頴匡表示，原本打算下午3時開始，但預計參與者眾多，加上場地有限，呼籲參加者下午2時起進場。
集會將以流水式進行，參加者可以從西面至東面進場，先逼爆遮打花園，然後逼爆遮打道。當場地爆滿時，主辦單位會協助部分參與人向東面離開，讓後來者進場。
集會中途，防暴警察在中環抓捕民眾，還發射催淚彈。約下午4時半，集會主辦單位不得不宣布終止集會，呼籲市民向金鐘方向散去。之後，防暴警察衝入集會現場，驅趕市民。
晚間，集會團隊發言人劉頴匡表示，此次集會最高峰時約15萬人參加，若沒有警察干擾，人數會更多。
而在全球12個國家、22個城市也會在今日（當地19日）舉行聲援活動，包括美國、加拿大、歐洲及澳洲。這次全球活動的目的是促請美國盡快實施制裁，並促請其它國家政府仿效美國，通過類似《香港人權與民主法案》，制裁侵犯人權的香港及中共官員。
