青石律师上次会见刘艳丽，是2020年1月7日，那时，还不知道将弥漫笼罩整个湖北大地的瘟疫已经开始。

七月底，马纲权律师会见刘艳丽时，刘艳丽说希望我去会见她。我虽然不太想去湖北（有些地方对去过湖北的人仍然是特别对待的），但想着这是二审结果出来前我最后见她一次的机会，我还是来了。

会见是通过视频，刘艳丽见到我很高兴，像见到亲人一样，并且急切的拿出自己写的厚厚的一叠辩解材料要来和我讨论二审法庭辩护时的辩护观点。

我有点不好意思的告诉她，说荆门市中级法院的二审法官已经通知了辩护律师二审不开庭了，让辩护律师提交书面辩护意见。闻此刘艳丽明显的很失望，说自己还要求二审法院公开开庭，她还有很多的辩护意见要对二审法庭说，对社会公众说，对全世界说。

我告诉她，二审不开庭，那就意味着维持原判，而且结果很快就会下来。她说，既然这样，二审连开庭的过场都不走了，那辩护意见也没有什么意义了，那我就放弃向他们所做的一切辩护，请你去找二审法官拿回我之前提交的辩解材料，我说我可能拿不回来。

刘艳丽说，我将向人民和世界提出我的声辩：即便按照中国现行的法律，我也不构成任何犯罪，我发布转发的微博微信，有不少是批评政府及领导人的，虽然我对一些政府行为很是厌恶、鄙视、反感，但是我并不是在辱骂，我是在批评，而批评是我的合法的公民权利，也是我的言论自由。我为行使自己的言论自由而坐牢，我不后悔，我虽然受了这么多的罪，我不会再写悔过书，我会坚持自己的信念，我没有背叛自己的良心，我是坦然的，我会永远捍卫自己的人权，绝不后悔。

我说我今天来见你，在法律方面其实已经没有什么要说的了，我更多的是代表外界关注你的人给你带来大家一直在关注和声援你的信息。刘艳丽笑着说，那你是来“临终关怀”的啰。我苦笑：也可以这么说吧。

而“临终关怀”，却正是刘艳丽由一个国有企业建设银行的经理走向异议人士的起点。她开始介入公共事务，关心社会弱者疾苦，即是从关怀抗战老兵开始，做了大量的公益工作，之后活跃在对荆门周边、湖北本地社会热点事件的批评、讨论、参与中。

直到2016年她被寻衅滋事。看守所里关了八个月，取保候审一年，再监视居住半年，一直没有驯服，之后再关进看守所（收押时她以死抗争、撞破了派出所的玻璃、割腕自杀，被抢救过来了手却留下伤痛后遗症），直到今年4月被判刑四年。

对于这样的人，我唯有敬仰，唯有在她被带离时起立向她行注目礼，唯有写下她的一些事迹和话语，让更多的人知道：原来在我们的国家里，还有这样的人。
