引述英媒報導，一名曾在新疆工作的維吾爾族女醫生，向英媒itv講述自己於當地行醫遭遇的恐怖經歷，指證中國為了控制維吾爾族的人口，曾強行摘除新疆女孩子宮等行為。

報導指，該女醫向英媒講述自己於中國受聘期間，中國為了控制新疆維吾爾族的人口，自己曾被逼為500到600名維吾爾族女性強制進行手術，包括強制避孕、強制絕育，強制墮胎、甚至有強制摘除子宮等，女醫透露自己在一次執行墮胎手術時，當時取出的胎兒還未斷氣，但轉頭就被扔進垃圾桶內，最令人震驚的是，大部份被接受手術的新疆女性，竟不知道自己曾面對的遭遇。

這名維吾爾族女醫生現在土耳其為一些維吾爾族的女性提供醫療協助，因對自己曾做的所作所為感到後悔，故向媒體供出自己曾經的罪行。

報導又指出，雖然女醫生的說法未能證實，但引用中國官方的人口文件指出，部份維吾爾族地區的出生率急跌近6成，相反全國才只錄得4%。

中國打壓新疆的行為早不是一朝半夕，中國雖從未承認打壓新疆，但建立新疆DNA資料庫、集中營及教育營等都已是不能掩蓋的新聞，美國更因此制裁有關官員。
