英國BBC駐華記者麥笛文（Stephen McDonell）6月7日撰文說，他日前在香港報導六四事件燭光守夜紀念活動時，拍攝了現場高達18萬人手持蠟燭並唱歌、令人震驚的畫面，然後不加思索地在微信(Wechat)上傳了其中幾張照片。

不久，麥笛文收到幾位中國朋友捎來的信息，問這是什麼活動？為什麼有那麼多人聚在一起？這是哪裡？

這些問題多數發自中國年輕一代專業人士，反映出在中共當局的壓制下，1989年天安門大屠殺事件在大陸被抹殺消失的程度。

訊息被監控？發集會照片=傳播惡意謠言？

麥笛文當天回答了其中一些問題，不久他發現自己的微信帳號被封了，屏幕上顯示：「由於帳戶異常，您的登錄信息已被拒絕。請嘗試再次登錄並按照說明事項操作。」

在麥笛文試圖重新登錄時，出現了一條新信息：「此微信帳號被懷疑『傳播惡意謠言』並暫時被封鎖……」

「看起來，在中國發布真實事件的照片，沒有任何文字評論，也會被認為是『傳播惡意謠言』。」麥笛文寫道。

接下來麥笛文為了恢復微信帳號，被迫一步步地按照指示「繳械」，包括他的臉部（掃描）及聲音檔。

解封帳號：罰金、「認發謠言」、臉部識別、本人聲音上傳

據他的敘述，第二天，他付了罰金後被給予嘗試再次登錄的機會，但是被迫「承認傳播惡意謠言」後，才能開始「解除封鎖」的動作。

他只好點擊「同意」。

接著畫面出現的這段文字讓他措手不及：「出於安全考慮，需要使用臉部識別（Faceprint）。」他說，沒有想到恢復帳號還有這個要求。

麥笛文逼不得已只好舉起他的智能手機到「面對前置攝像頭」的位置，看著手機上的人頭圖像。接著更意想不到的是，手機中傳來語音指示：「用普通話大聲朗讀數字」。

「在掃描我的臉部的同時，我的聲音也被應用程序捕獲了。」他寫道。

完成這些意料之外的程序後，手機屏幕出現一個很大的綠色標記：「已批准」。

麥笛文說，整個過程令他毛骨悚然，並開始擔心他的臉部及語音數據會被用到哪些用途。

「毫無疑問地，我現在已被納入可疑人士名單，落到沒有人知道的那些中國（中共）政府機構的手中。」

麥笛文說，在中國大陸幾乎人人都有微信帳號，它已經深入中國人的日常生活中。然而，微信也向中共提供了在這個國家內幾乎所有人，包括中國人及外國人的生活細節。

每個微信被封鎖的網民，如果想要恢復它，都會被迫讓微信取走臉部及聲音檔。今年的六四事件三十周年，中共又掌握了更多人的數據。
