聖誕節（25日）凌晨2時31分，一名16歲姓冼少年，被發現由旺角長沙街與砵蘭街交界、一幢10多米高的大廈三樓天台墮下，倒臥休憩公園。事主被送往伊利沙伯醫院治理，送院時清醒。他兩度向家人稱：「我唔想被消失！」其母則安慰道：「唔使驚！冇事㗎阿仔！」目前少年情況穩定。有目擊者指，當時大批防暴警在處理示威衝突，未幾便發生墮樓案。警方表示，該名16歲男子清醒被送院治理，警方初步調查，相信男事主從上址一樓層平台墮下，事件沒有可疑。

據了解，事發時旺角一帶有示威者聚集，並有人從高處擲物，大批警員在區內多條街道搜查，並進入砵蘭街160號地下一間食肆、以及對上長沙街166號大廈三樓天台搜查。

目擊者：少年當時捉着平台邊

有目擊者表示，案中少年當時捉着平台邊，不久隨即墮樓。一名義務急救員則指，最初有三名急救員衝往救援，卻被在場防暴警噴射胡椒噴霧驅趕，他自己亦「中椒」。

有現場市民則拍攝到墮樓一刻，可見當時大量防暴警駐守於長沙街，而涉事大廈天台，則傳來多下懷疑照明燈的閃光，一名人士捉着平台邊，未幾即墮樓，在場人士驚呼：「係咪跌咗落嚟呀！？」

警方：事件沒有可疑

警方表示，周三（25日）凌晨12時31分，警方接獲途人報案，指發現該名16歲姓冼少年倒臥地上，懷疑男事主從高處墮下。警員到場了解，男事主清醒被送往伊利沙伯醫院治理。警方初步調查相信，男事主從上址一樓層平台墮下，事件沒有可疑。至於政府新聞處表示，少年目前情況穩定。

餐廳負責人：同事因阻擋警方入內，被捕帶走

被搜查的餐廳負責人事後趕返了解，他指一名同事因為阻擋警方入內，被捕帶走，但不清楚墮樓案詳情，涉事天台亦沒有安裝閉路電視，但相信附近大廈或店舖會有「天眼」。他續稱，過往均有開放餐廳供記者及義務急救員休息，事發後警方檢走頭盔及醫療用品等物資。

而墮樓案發生後，大批示威者群情洶湧及聚集，並前往案發現場對面一間小食店，查問可否提供閉路電視片段，據悉該店負責人卻做出粗口口形，示威者不滿其態度惡劣，大肆毀壞該店。其後多輛警車及防暴警察到場。
